Islington NCT
We’re spending a quiet Sunday today after a flurry of activity yesterday, which saw us setting up stall at the Kids Stuff Sale on Upper Street in Islington. It was really kind of the NCT to let us participate - they don’t usually invite retailers, as they use the events as fund raisers, but participating gave us a chance to spread the real nappy gospel among their attendants, so everyone benefitted.
The other big plus for us was getting to meet some of our customers. It was great to hear (in person) the kind of things which concern you all when switching to/using real nappies, and also to see how many of you are keen to do so. A lot of those we met wanted to switch, but just had so many questions! So it was great to be able to answer some of them, and it also reassured us that setting up the blog and other information sources is definitely the right thing to be doing, to ensure that everyone has easy, accessible information.
Whilst the rest of the Clean Green Nappy team help customers, one team member takes a well-earned break.
