New product launch: Bambinex All-in-One

I’m really excited to be writing today to announce the launch of the latest addition to our product lines. We don’t add new products often - as we think that it’s best to trial nappies rigorously and offer you only the brands and individual products which meet our stringent standards. This cuts out a lot of the guess-work for you, our customers.
At only £10.99 each, these nappies are great value for money, as you don’t have to pay twice for separate wraps and nappies. Below is our product description - please have a read through to see for yourself. You can visit the site here to view the products.
We’re delighted to stock this all-in-one nappy from Bambinex – who prove with this launch their ongoing commitment to making real nappies which are easy to use without compromising on quality and performance. Before we trialled this nappy, we didn’t hold out too much hope – we’ve tested all-in-ones before, and generally found them lacking in the leak-proof ratings – which is why we only have one or two really carefully chosen products in this category. But the people over at Bambinex kept telling us this is a really well designed nappy, and we decided to give it a go – partly because their wraps are so good at moisture containment, and we thought that if they could bring some of the engineering behind that to the all-in-one, it may be a product worth offering our customers.
In terms of the construction, it has a slimline inner, made up of a fabric called “super-soaker” – the name says it all – between three layers of velvety soft microfibre teddy. This is attached to the wrap at the front and back at the top only, which is great on a number of counts. Firstly, it means that you can boost it between the outer wrap layer and the inner layer, so that the lovely soft fabric is in contact with your baby’s skin. (Please note that we recommend boosting this nappy – especially for longer use or heavy wetters). Secondly, when drying, there is more air circulation than a traditional all-in-one, meaning you avoid the long drying times associated with them. And finally (and to my mind, most importantly) it means that you don’t have a seam all the way round where the fabric joins the wrap. This is usually the part of an all-in-one most vulnerable to leaking and wicking through onto clothes, so keeping everything nicely contained inside makes it a really cleverly constructed nappy.
To complement this, the fabric is attached inside the gusset (not along the same seam), which also helps keep leakages down, and the wrap has all the structural features of the great Bambinex wrap – which is one of our top-performing products.

Available in four sizes, Small 6-12lbs, Medium 10-20lbs, Large 20-30lbs, XL - 30lbs+, the nappy offers an accurate fit for any baby. Each size has a different colour fabric piece - small is white, medium ivory, large green, and extra large mandarin. All the outers are white.
The advantages of an all-in-one are immediately obvious – having only one piece to put onto your baby makes for an easier and quicker change. With the hook and loop (aplix) fastening, it makes it the closest thing to the convenience of a disposable that we’ve tested. This means it’s a great nappy for while you’re on the go.
But its great absorbance and leak-proofness mean that it’s also pretty good for longer use and heavy wetters – something we never thought we’d say about an all-in-one. And the fact that we successfully trialled it overnight, means that we can confidently recommend this to you as a great product both for convenience and for performance.
