Late night real nappy shopping in Hebden Bridge

It’s been a really exciting few months for us since we moved into our shop here in Hebden Bridge.  I’ve loved meeting some of our customers, and with people travelling from as far away as Doncaster, Sheffield, and even Sunderland (over 100 miles away!) we’re delighted that we’re able to offer advice to people who want to actually come and have a look at nappies: to touch and feel them, and to get a bit of advice from us before they buy them.

One of the lovely things has been the warm welcome we’ve received in Hebden Bridge. We’ve build up a little group of regular customers, and our impression is that the environmentally-conscious parents of Calderdale are proud to have the only dedicated real nappy shop in the country right on their doorstep.

And on top of that, it’s great for us to feel a part of a community of lovely small businesses here in Hebden Bridge - which is known both locally and further afield for shops with lovely products, friendly staff and an ethical business outlook. So we hope we’ve slotted right into that!

Tonight the town is turning on the Christmas lights and holding a lantern making workshop and parade, and the local shops are staying open late for the first in a series of late night shopping events to be held for the next three Thursdays.  Parking is free in all the town car parks from 3pm on all of these days, and as Duncan McKie, the head of the local Business Association, (and properietor of the amazing Pot Stop kitchen wares shop just down the road), says “Christmas is a great opportunity for all the businesses in the town to work together. Our great little shops, restaurants, cafes and pubs make for an ideal late night shopping environment.”

So if you live nearby and need to do some festive shopping at your convenience, pop down tonight, or on Thursday 3rd or 10th December and browse the shops til 8pm.  We’ll be open and ready to talk nappies to anyone with queries!
