The Clean Green Nappy Machine is a real nappy internet retailer which has been running for just under a year. We are a couple of first time parents and when we switched our daughter to real nappies we found the choice confusing and, quite frankly, a bit overwhelming. We spoke to family and friends, attended nappy demonstrations and scoured the web for the information we needed. Finding many of these sites a little unprofessional (and having had a bad experience where we didn’t receive our order) we decided to set up our own shop, to create an accessible and easy to use service where we give honest and unbiased information about the growing range of choice for ethical parents wishing to use real nappies.
We have a strict ethical policy which focuses on our environmental commitment – we strongly believe there’s no point selling real nappies if we follow outmoded business practices when it comes to packaging, waste disposal, and production of promotional materials. Our most recent commitment to our customers has seen us take the first steps to developing easy to access information sources. Part of that process is launching this real nappy blog with tips, guides and general information – from a discussion of the rights and wrongs of real nappies vs disposables to how innovations are making real nappies easier to use, cheaper and more ecologically sound than ever before.
